FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. Why won’t my door close?
Try:
a. Eye-Beam out of adjustment (not warranted beyond 90 days)
b. Obstruction of eye-beam (not warranted beyond 90 days)
c. Broken pre-wire
Always check to make sure both eyes are lit, and not blinking.
2. Why won’t my wall button close my door?
Try:
a. Check connected at the head, and wall button.
b. Test pre-wire, by jumping across opener terminals
c. Hold button continuously if opener works refer to eye-beam check.
3. My door stops a couple feet from floor. Why?
Try:
Down force settings may need increased, these settings are very weather sensitive. (not warranted beyond 90 days)
4. My remotes and keyless won’t work.
Try:
a. Check batteries, they should be replaced every 6 months.
(not warranted beyond 90 days)
b. If batteries are completely dead you may have to re-program the accessories, (not warranted beyond 90 days)
c. To re-program transmitter simply push smart button on rear of opener and then transmitter button.
d. For keyless entry program, see owner’s manual.

5. My door is making noise.
Try:
a. Doors are mechanical and require preventive maintenance, doors should be lubed at the very least every 6 months, and we recommend every 3 months. (WD-40 or equivalent - not warranted beyond 90 days)
b. Recommended areas; hinges, rollers, springs, and tracks. Or any moving part of the door. (not warranted beyond 90 days)
6. My door motor is working, but the door does not move. Why?
Try:
Check to see if the Red Handle is Disconnected (not warranted )
Door safety should always be checked upon lubrication of the garage door.
- Check for frayed cables
- Damaged rollers
- Proper force settings
- Proper door travel
- Proper spring balance
NOTE: The weight of a door can change due to humidity. Painting the door will do the same. Proper balance will extend the life of the spring, and door opener, if the door is balanced properly it should set on the floor, stay completely open, and balance half way up.
