PURCHASING ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Responsible for supporting the Purchasing Manager and product directors with item and pricing maintenance in our order entry system. The Purchasing Admin must reflect and represent Hamilton Parker’s core values, H.E.A.R.T. (History, Enthusiastic, Adaptive, Reputable, Team-oriented).

- Product item maintenance in Prophet 21
• Set up new items and item numbers
• Update vendor costs
• Maintain product categories
• Clean up
• Enter product weights - Order confirmations
• Follow up on past due vendor purchase orders
• Follow up on past due masonry required dates - Outbound LTL
• Scheduling
• Quotes for sales - Manage masonry freight
- Enter cycle counts
- Upload excel spreadsheets into P21
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong follow up skills with attention to detail.
- Data entry and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel.
Education & Training:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Previous inventory control or purchasing background a plus.
- Prophet 21 experience a plus.
