Outside Sales Manager
Represent the company to builders, members of the A&D community, general contractors, and dealers in a courteous and professional manner. Oversee the Account Specialists based out of the Columbus home office, and foster sales across all branches. The Outside Sales Manager must reflect and represent Hamilton Parker’s core values, H.E.A.R.T (History, Enthusiastic, Adaptive, Reputable, Team-Oriented).

Full-TimeResponsibilities:
- Maintain professional relationships with all current and potential customers.
- Drive sales
• Residential sales.
• Commercial sales through the A&D community and related sub and general contractors
• Maintain statewide dealer sales coverage.
• Introduce current methods for promoting sales. - In conjunction with the Director of Sales, help facilitate/lead sales classes; including introduction to sales class.
- Create/maintain a regional sales distribution plan; coverage for the state and beyond for products with expanded territory.
- Engage in external networking organizations (BIA, NARI, etc.).
- Product launches; helping push new product out into the market (including HP’s branch locations when applicable).
- Assist clients with any errors or concerns and help them achieve a comfortable, equitable, and timely resolution.
- Hold/lead team L10 meetings
- Lead the Outside Sales team.
• Balance sales leads and coordinate as needed between showroom hours and “field time”
• Assist Account Specialists with calls on customers and quotes.
• Annual performance reviews - Continual self and formalized training to gain knowledge of product lines.
- Additional duties as assigned by the Director of Sales.
- Build rapport between sales team and shared services to promote excellent internal customer service
- Support company SOP’s, ensuring staff is appropriately trained and following procedures
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Profit21.
- Strong communication skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to lead the department and answer questions for the staff.
- Organized.
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel.
- Team-oriented.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a fast paced environment.
- Knowledge of building materials.
- Understanding of the commercial/residential process.
