To assist Hamilton Parker customers at the Contractor/Warehouse counter, this includes entering and pulling orders. The Customer Audit Coordinator candidate must reflect and represent Hamilton Parker’s core values, H.E.A.R.T. (History, Enthusiastic, Adaptive, Reputable, Team-oriented).
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build and retain warehouse customer relationships through in-person, email, text, and phone interactions.
- Serves as point of contact for customers (internal and external) that have questions or issues with their orders after they have left the Columbus warehouse.
- Research, resolve, and respond to the customer and their sales rep on any issues.
- Provide QUALITY ASSURANCE CHECKS on all outgoing shipments (deliveries, transfers, LTLs, and pre-pulls) for tile and masonry products.
- Call all customer deliveries the day prior to confirm. Confirm location, time, product, and contact information. Adjust order as directed by our customer if needed. Upsell ancillary products when appropriate.
- Coordinate with our dispatcher and/or leadership any emergencies or changes to the delivery schedule.
- Works in the warehouse assisting contractors and retail customers with orders.
- Coordinate with Inventory Control Manager any known inventory discrepancies.
- Help clean the warehouse (sweeping area, picking up trash, etc.)
- Any additional responsibilities as assigned by manager.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Strong communication skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel and customers
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to prioritize workload and effectively work with little supervision.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of building materials a plus.
- Forklift, bobcat, yard lift experience a plus.
- Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop,
kneel, crouch, or crawl.
