Three-layer construction means our doors are built to last. Model 9100 utilizes a ToughGard®  backer, while Model 9605 provides additional protection with a steel backer. Integral struts add rigidity and strength for long-lasting, smooth operation. Wind load options with structural reinforcements are available for coastal areas and high-wind areas.

Thermally Efficient
With polyurethane foamed-in-place insulation that boasts a U-factor* of .26  for Models 9100 and 9605 (R –value** of 10 for Model 9605 and 9 for Model 9100), our classic steel garage doors can improve your home’s thermal efficiency and block street noise. A bottom weather seal blocks draft and debris from the garage. (R-value of 9 for 7′ tall doors; R-value of 10 for 8′ tall doors.)

Safe
With the TorqueMaster®  Plus Counter Balance System, springs are nestled safely inside a steel tube to prevent the accidental release of tension and prevent injury. Our Classic Steel garage doors also feature anti-drop technology for added safety.

Durable
An upgrade to the optional 25,000-cycle spring delivers more than twice the life of a standard torsion spring.
